Shakeology

Want to lose weight? Want to detox your body? Want to feel energized? Want to lower your cholesterol? If you answered yes to any of these questions, Shakeology just might be for you. Yes I know I might sound like an infomercial, but I was skeptical about it until I tried it.

My sister Britany is a BeachBody Coach in Southern California. Ever since she became a coach, she's been trying to tell me about this product and how it helps you lose weight and become healthier. And for me, getting my stubbornness from my father, I respond by telling her that I don't need a product to help me lose weight, I can do it on my own. But if a product like Shakeology can help me lose weight, and taste amazing, I might have to rethink my whole process.

Britany did convince my younger sister Ashley to purchase Shakeology. After Ashley told me how good it was and how much better she felt after she started using it, I asked her if I could have a few samples to try for myself. When I visited my family over Easter weekend, she gave me 3 samples to try. And what did I do with those samples? I threw them off to the side the second I got home and completely forgot about them. After talking with my sister Britany today and telling her I was craving ice cream, and she told me don't do it; I remembered those samples, Ashley gave me. Britany sent me recipes to make using the powder and here's what I did:

1 scoop Chocolate Shakeology
about 1 cup of almond milk
a spoonful of natural peanut butter
a drizzling of honey
Mix together and blend with 4 ice cubes.

I couldn't believe how good it was! I'm not a big fan of chocolate milkshakes but the tiny bit of peanut butter I added was the key. Now you might be saying, 1 person telling me it's good, isn't going to make me go and buy it. Well I agree, I wouldn't buy it either if only 1 person told me about it. I'm writing this review simply to alert my friends about this product (because it was actually good) and to help my sister Britany, promote her business as a BeachBody Coach.
